Treatment for ‘Double Chin’

The aesthetic procedure for this treatment is an FDA and Health Canada approved safe injectable substance used for the reduction of the appearance of a ‘double chin’. This non-surgical and non-invasive treatment is available at Laser and Skin Care Medspa and consists of a series of injections of deoxycholic acid, which is a naturally occurring molecule in our body that helps break down fat. 

Areas for Treatment

It is currently only approved for treatment in the upper neck under the chin. A ‘double chin’ is common in 67% of people and can be caused by a number of factors such as aging, genetics, or weight gain. 

Number of Treatments

Over an 8 week span, anywhere from 2 to 4 treatments may be necessary but a consultation is needed for this procedure.
